Itinerary
Distance: ~9 km | Duration: 4–5 Hours
Morning: Meet your Star Adventure trek leader at the base point in McLeod Ganj or Dharamkot. After a quick briefing and gear check, we begin our steady climb through dense forests of oak, deodar, and vibrant rhododendrons.
Mid-Day: We take a well-deserved break at the famous Magic View Café, the oldest chai shop on the trail. Enjoy a hot snack while taking in bird’s-eye views of the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium and the Kangra Valley far below.
Afternoon: The final stretch involves the exhilarating "22 Curves"—a series of switchbacks that test your rhythm before opening up to the majestic Triund ridge.
Evening: Reach the summit just in time to witness a legendary Himalayan sunset. We’ll settle into our high-quality tents, followed by a warm dinner and stargazing under a clear, unpolluted night sky.
Distance: ~9 km | Duration: 3 Hours
Early Morning: Wake up to "bed tea" and witness the first rays of the sun hitting the snow-capped granite walls of the Dhauladhar Range. The view of the peaks—including Moon Peak and Arthur’s Seat—is most dramatic at this hour.
Breakfast: Enjoy a hearty mountain breakfast at the campsite before capturing final photographs of the ridge.
The Descent: We begin our trek back down toward the base. The return journey offers a fresh perspective of the lush landscape and local birdlife.
Afternoon: Reach the base point by early afternoon, marking the end of your adventure with memories (and photos) that will last a lifetime.
