Itinerary
Arrive in Manali and meet at the base camp. After breakfast and briefing, drive through the scenic Solang Valley to reach Dhundi, the trek starting point. From here, begin trekking along the Beas River through lush meadows and forests towards Bakarthach, a beautiful alpine campsite surrounded by mountains. Start early for the summit day. The trail becomes steeper as you climb above the tree line, with panoramic views of Friendship Peak, Shitidhar, and Hanuman Tibba. Reach the sacred Beas Kund, a pristine glacial lake that is the origin of the Beas River. Spend some time by the lake, soaking in the serene atmosphere, before retracing the trail back to Bakarthach. Overnight camping with dinner at Bakarthach.
After breakfast, begin the descent from Bakarthach to Dhundi, enjoying the last stretch of meadows and river views.
