Itinerary
Begin your journey with an early morning drive from Rishikesh to Joshimath, enjoying the scenic Garhwal valleys, rivers, and lush hills along the way. Arrive in Joshimath by evening, check in at the guesthouse, and rest.
Travel to Dhak, the starting point of the trek. Begin trekking through oak and rhododendron forests, gradually ascending to Gulling Top. Enjoy panoramic Himalayan views and camp overnight amidst serene landscapes.
Descend gently from Gulling Top through dense forests and meadows to reach the Tali Forest Camp. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature and relax for the night under the stars.
Trek through lush trails to Khullara Top, then continue to the Kuari Pass at 12,516 ft, taking in breathtaking views of peaks like Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and Hathi-Ghoda Parvat. Return via the same route to Tali Forest Camp for the night.
Explore the expansive alpine meadows of Gorson Bugyal (11,150 ft) and the hill station of Auli (9,680 ft). Later, descend back to Tali Forest Camp and drive to Joshimath, concluding the trekking portion of the journey.
Drive back from Joshimath to Rishikesh, reflecting on the stunning landscapes, alpine meadows, and Himalayan adventure you experienced on the trek.
